OUR HISTORY


Located in the Barossa Valley, Career BOSS is a recruitment & Training business that offers employers and candidates a range of employment services. These include recruitment, temp staff, labour hire, computer courses, office traineeships & management courses.

BOSS – Barossa Office & Secretarial Service commenced in 1985 and has continued to provide secretarial support for clubs, associations, cooperatives and individuals. After moving into larger premises on Railway Tce at Nuriootpa in 2005, the Barossa Business Centre was created. At the Barossa Business Centre, BOSS introduced Serviced Offices and Virtual Office services into the portfolio. However, further space was needed and hence BOSS moved to its current even bigger premesis at the Kaiser Stuhl Office Building.

Career BOSS is a recruitment, temp agency / labour hire and training business that services the Barossa Valley, country regions and the Gawler area. Because our origin is in office support, we are the leading recruiter in this field in the region. However, our recruitment services have grown to include all industry sectors and position types.

In 2003 BOSS created “Job Winning Resumes”. This is a full resume and application preparation service to give job applicants the winning edge. Several hundred resumes have been prepared for clients.

In 2006 Career BOSS undertook the accreditation process to be a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). We now deliver nationally accredited training in Certificate II, III & IV in Business & Business Administration as on-the-job Traineeships and by a combination of distance / attendance learning.

Our Certificate IV in Frontline Management course has proven very successful for those employed as, or aspiring to be, leaders.

In 2007 the Career BOSS Training Centre commenced. One day computer courses are offered in Microsoft packages at introduction, intermediate and advanced level.
