At first I didn’t know what to expect from the course, but I have found it extremely helpful as stepping up to middle management has been a difficult journey It is also giving me the tools (knowledge) to in your words empower me and help me to take control. Staff respect me more and in turn are more willing to think outside the square, and help when needed. I recommend this course to anyone struggling with situations at work, and also who are hungry for knowledge to help further their own self-esteem.

The skills that I have gained from doing the Certificate IV in Frontline Management is that planning forms an integral part to any successful businesses strategic plan and resultant productivity…this course has developed my knowledge and managerial skills and has taught me how to address and deal with situations that arise better than I had previously. My advice to others thinking about doing the program? - DO IT, but you've got to be committed.

I have really enjoyed the Frontline Management course… the units on the importance of working as a team and team building, educating staff, planning, safety and managing projects have all been helpful and given me ideas which I can bring to Murray Street Vineyards. I do believe though, that anyone who manages staff should do the course as I have learnt that so much about managing staff well requires the correct approach. Mike is a great teacher. He has the skills to make learning interesting and understandable and always listens keenly to each person in the class when they contribute. I would recommend anyone to take up the course and will be looking out for any more courses that would be helpful to myself or any other staff members here at MSV.
